Course Structure

  • 1) Hospitality English

    This module covers grammar, reading, writing, and interaction which are integrated effectively. Thus, the course aims to builds upon and expand the proficiency of the students from their previous level, to equip them with the skills and knowledge of English to be used in the Hospitality/ Food & Beverage Industry.

    2) Hospitality Customer Service and Communications

    This module provides students with an overview or the range of functions which keeps customers satisfied within the functions of the international hospitality industry.

    3) Food & Beverage Service Operations

    The aim of Food and Beverage Operations module is to provide students with an understanding of the operational and supervisory aspects of running Food & Beverage service operations of small to large establishments while mastering the essential factors required to meet meeting international standards of customer needs.

    4) Personal Development & Grooming

    The aim of this module is to prepare a smooth transition from secondary school level of learning towards a tertiary level of learning. Through this module, students will be equipped with the necessary industry skills, leadership, professional attitude to cope with learning and assessments at a tertiary level, essential to prepare for a progressive career in hospitality and other service sectors.

    5) Food Safety & Hygiene

    The aim of this module is to provide students with the hygiene and safety techniques and principles relevant to food & beverage service and best practises to maintain quality standards of nutrition content.
